So we finally made it. Leaving was tough but I know it’s gonna be an amazing experience. I was kinda nervous at first about the MTC but nkw that im here its epic and i love it here. I don’t really have a lot of time tonight to write a huge email so I’ll keep it quick haha. Our first big devotional here was amazing, it was called the Character of Christ. There was some insanely awesome stuff we found in there but the thing I wanna talk about the most is what is the character of Christ? First of all, there would have been no Atonement, if not for the character of Christ. How crazy is that? If Chrisf hadn’t been like the way He was, there would be no way we could return to our Heavenly Father. Secondly, the character of Christ is to turn outward in love, compassion, and service. It’s such an interesting and amazing concept to think about and I’ve thought about it so much this past day. So here’s the weekly invitation cause well you know, my purpose is to invite others to come unto Christ. This week, try and focus on the character of Christ. Turn outward instead of the natural man turning inward. Look around and find someone you can love, have compassion for, or serve. It doesn’t have to be a big event, just try and increase your ability to focus on the character of Christ. I promise that as you focus on this concept, you will feel His love for you so much more, but you will also feel so so happy. 

Second big thing… me and Elder Graham got called to be zone leaders during the MTC. Kinda crazy cause it was literally the second night here. Some of the people have literally been here five weeks and now I’m their zone leader. But I know Heavenly Father has a reason for everything so I’m gonna try and be the best I can hahaha. 

Third big thing. I got a reassignment. Kinda sad but my visa is being a pain. I got reassigned to the Wisconsin Milwaukee mission. Kinda epic cause you already know I’m gonna be wearing my Phoenix Sun’s tie and represent the valley here hahaha. Might get made fun of but I’m proud of my team. Basically though, if my visa doesn’t come in by the time I leave the MTC then I’ll go to my reassignment. Otherwise I’ll report to Liberia still if my visa comes in on time.
