This week has been crazy. 

First I had an amazing Sunday during both sacrament and priesthood meeting. Our focus this Sunday was the power of the Book of Mormon.  One awesome thing my branch president said was, “The Book of Mormon is the foundation of every testimony in the restored world. Without it, what would our Church look like?” I can honestly say that the Book of Mormon is such an essential part of the restored gospel. It’s teachings, warnings and testifying are just so powerful and amazing! We watched a short clip of a conference talk from President Holland from the October 2009 conference. It’s titled Safety for the Soul. If you have time, you need to watch it. At the end he bears his testimony of the Book of Mormon. It is the single most powerful testimony I have ever heard. Let me just end by saying I have loved reading out of the Book of Mormon everyday. I know without a doubt it is another testament of Christ. I invite all of you to read out of the Book of Mormon this week. Especially Moroni 10. Try and remember and grow ur testimony of the Book of Mormon. I promise it will bless you throughout your life. 

Second epic thing. President Bednar came in and spoke to us. The love and spirit he brought was so powerful and amazing! He spoke on the power of repentance and receiving redemption of our sins. His testimony was so simple but so powerful and you could tell every missionary in the building felt the spirit. I testify of the power of God’s chosen apostles. They truly do testify of the gospel of Jesus Christ. 

Last quick thing I wanna share is a scripture I found during my study this week. Alma 32:21 says, “faith is not to have a perfect knowledge of things; therefore if ye have faith ye hope for things which are not seen, which are true.” Holy… what an epic scripture! Faith is built on hope and trust in Jesus Christ. We may not have a perfect knowledge of everything, but we have hope that our Savior will be beside us as we go throughout our lives. He loves us all and wants us to come back to Him.
