Hello hello everyone and merry Christmas! Let’s just get right into the good stuff and update for the week.

– had our mission Christmas party! It’s always good to see other missionaries and meet new ones that have been here for awhile. Our theme was Wise Men Still Seek Him. So we had a big epic devotional with everyone and President and Sister Thomas. Love those two. They’re awesome. Played some games and had some activities. Danced. Music. And oh my goodness, ice cream! Twas bussing. But ya it was a good time.

– Thursday, me and the whole apartment were sick. Not like deathly sick, but enough that none of us felt good to go out. It ended up being good though. We were all just sitting in our living room just kind of talking and had a great discussion about Christmas, and the mission, and some good doctrine. Got to catch up in my journal. Had some big mega baller epic personal study. If you haven’t read from Jesus the Christ. It’s a must. Some cool stuff in there. We were able to call a few people but it was a pretty boring day.

– alright fun stuff. Remember how I was able to train a new missionary for like 45 minutes? Ya well good thing President Thomas still trusts me. Cause I’m gonna be training a new missionary again!!! Elder Esakalonga is from DRC so I’m gonna be teaching him English. But it’s gonna be fire! So excited to train cause we’re gonna work hard and have a good time together. Any tips just let me know haha.

– Christmas day. Twas baller. I made some chocolate chip pancakes. It’s insane how little sugar I can eat now 😅. It was way too sweet for me haha. I did the good old washing and shopping in the morning. Wrote some emails. Then called home. Sheesh you guys in the states are spoiled. Good weather and AC? That’s nice. Anyway, I got to call home for a little and hang out with the family on Christmas morning. Opened the two gifts that I brought with me haha. Shout out to the family and the Perkins family you guys are epic. We were able to do some contacting with a few members and get some good meals. Might have gained a few pounds today but hey I’ll take it while here in Africa.

– alright for anyone that sent a video to Emery to send to me…. You guys actually are my favorite. That honestly made my whole day and week and year. Felt so good to see you guys. Yall are epic!

Merry Christmas everyone! Remember what this season of year is for. Our lord and Savior Jesus Christ! His birth is so miraculous and amazing and I’ve loved studying it this past week. Which leads us into….. 

The weekly invitation. Go read from the Bible and the story of Jesus Christ’s birth. It’s awesome. And also go watch the Christ Child. It’s so good. And eat some good food for me. Read your scriptures. And spend time with some family. And be grateful for what you have. Mic drop.
