Officially 6 months

What’s up my pikeens. Yes it’s official. Wednesday made me 6 months on my mission. Insane where the time went. Only gotta do this 3 more times?! Crazy. Hopefully I’ll be doing it in different areas though 😂.

So again it’s been a crazy P day and a crazy week. So I’ll just stick to the highlights and miracles for the week.

– we actually spent the whole week out in the field cause none of us were sick!!! So we were able to teach a lot of people and teach a lot of lessons which was epic!

– it rained on Tuesday which was so epic. The evening actually cooled down a bit and it made me miss rainy season baway haha. Dry season is hot but honestly I thought it would be way worse the way that everyone was making it sound. People here go crazy when I explain to them how hot AZ can get in the summer. Whenever I explain to them that you can crack an egg and cook it on the asphalt it blows their mind hahaha. But good times.

– gotta see my boy Elder Nelson. We were in the MTC together and it was the first time I’d seen him for 6 months. Because he’s the new office elder he crashed the night in our apartment cause he was on a special top secret mission. So we got to catch up and talk for a little which was epic.

– got our subsistence again for the month. I literally came down to 200 LD. Which is like $1 😳😳😳 so ya thank goodness we got sub otherwise we would all be suffering now now.

– Hawa, Verny, and Abraham are ready and prepared for baptism!!! It’ll be next Saturdayso I’m so stoked. We’ve been studying with them for a looooong time now. 6 months to be exact 😐. My whole time in Brewerville. And Hawa has been preparing for even longer.

– we had 15 people come to church again 😳😳😳. That’s like actually insane that we’re seeing people come to church now. We’ve been struggling to get people to come but now they’re all coming!!! So obviously there’s a reason I’m still in Brewerville and that just means I gotta get to work and help these people all realize the importance of this gospel!!!

– got transfer news on Saturday. Nothing new for me haha. I’ll most likely be finishing Elder Esakalongas training and then I’ll go. Honestly it’ll be so sad to say bye to this area especially cause it’s been my first one. But I still gotta keep grinding these last 6 weeks.

– gotta go to the beach today!!! Our whole zone went and it was fire. Spent time chilling on the beach and threw around my Frisbee. Dug some holes in the sand. Good times. Had some drunk guys come up to us and tell us they were the beach security and that we needed to pay them or they could arrest us. And then a huge crowd formed. And they all kept zogoing our water and biscuits. It was crazy. Sorry to zogo something means to steal haha. Koloqua is spoiling my English. Overall though it was chill and I gotta spend some good times with my boys and TCs.

Alright my pikeens time for invitation time. This week I was studying a lot about Christlike attributes again. I’ve been having some struggles but I’ve been striving to be as Christlike as I can. And I’ve seen it works so well!!! So….

Invitation: go study chapter 6 in Preach My Gospel. I know I know it’s focused on missionary work. But the things it talks about are so awesome and I encourage all of you to go study it!!! And then try and apply it into your own a lives. It’ll change it for real!

Spritual thought: JESUS LOVES YOU BAWAY!!!!! Can’t get much better than that 😂

Love you all keep sending emails and updates on life and stuff. And for those of my people that are turning in your papers or getting your calls right now, keep grinding. So proud of you guys! But prepare! Read your BOM. It’ll change your life.

Keep grinding.

Keep sending.

Keep loving.

– Elder Good Man
