Another week in the field! Crazy how quick it’s going! We’ll just stick to the highlights.
– last P day we were in town and went to this place called L’Oven Bakery. Holy crap it felt good to eat some good food again haha. We spent $40 for a small pizza, a schwarma, and two oreo milkshakes. But hey it was soooooo worth it
– we had some awesome lessons with some awesome people. We have a few really good progressing people that were hoping will be ready for baptism in the next few weeks or month
– saw a few of the people I baptized receive the Melchezideck priesthood on Sunday! That was awesome. We had stake Conference too and I learned a lot of things for real. President and Sister Thomas also spoke and bore their testimonies. And President’s mom came to Liberia this week and holy she’s amazing! She’s actually spoken a few times in general conference so be sure to go check out Carol B Thomas in Gospel Library.
– bro. I got to play volleyball today!!! A bunch of elders went to the stake center to play so of course when I received the invite I said heck ya. Gosh I was baaaaaaad. Couldn’t play for the life of me. But hey it felt so good to play again haha even if it wasn’t great volleyball. Just gotta be happy for those tender mercies you know!
Honestly nothing too crazy going on. Missions still tough and a grind but I’m loving it. Sorry for the rushed email but it’s bene a crazy P day. Anyways hope yall have a baller week. Go read your BOM.
