One year since…

Okay don’t be confused by the title. What I’m trying to say is that it’s been over one year since I opened my mission call back home. April 18th. Ya it’s blowing my mind. It feels like yesterday and it’s just crazy to think that it was a year ago I found out I was coming to the best mission in the world!

This week was so awesome. It feels like I’m saying that over and over when people ask me how it is. But I can’t lie! Buchanan is honestly just so amazing and we’re doing some awesome stuff out here. The work is really starting to pick up and it’s just big mega epic.

Wednesday we had Zone Conference! We traveled in the morning to go to the Farmington Hotel which is where our zone has conference. Oh my gosh. This place was legit the nicest place I’ve been to since in Liberia. It’s literally a Marriott Courtyard 😂. But ya check the Google photos if you wanna see a small video or something of what it was looking like. We had some awesome instruction from President and Sister Thomas about Christlike attributes and faith. Also some sweet instruction from the APs on finding. They shared this one talk called A Voice of Warning by President Eyring. Highly recommend. Also our instruction wasn’t too bad so we’re grateful for that one.

We finished the week strong and tried to see all our people in just the few days we had. We extended a few on baptismal date, prepared those we have, and found some few new people which is awesome! Speaking of which we have 4 ready for baptism this Saturday. So pray for Fred, Naomi, Blessing, and Jones! So excited to have another baptism.

Also please pray for Elder Hunt. He’s an elder in our zone and he found out yesterday his brother passed away. Please please please keep him in your prayers 🙏🙏🙏.

My invitation for all you hooligans this week is two things.

– go study Chapter 6 of Preach My Gospel. It’s all about Christlike attributes and it’s awesome

– go listen to A Voice of Warning by President Eyring. It’ll blow your mind, make you feel guilty but in a good way haha

Anyway love ya all and keep cooking out in the Lords vineyard. Wherever you are, invite someone to church and show that God and Jesus Christ love them!

Send me pics, emails, and updates. Especially on the Suns and my Mesa vball boys

Jesus loves you
