What’s up people of the promised land! I don’t know that’s just something my Dad used to say but I guess it’s actually pretty true hahaha. This week was pretty big epic as always so let’s get right on into it!
– P day was awesome as always. The only problem is that the past few we don’t have power cause only one of our generators works. Our apartment is only run on generator so we have to save our 12 hour cycle for the night so we actually can sleep haha. So ya it’s been not as relaxing as normal P days but hey I’ll still take a little rest. And playing Monopoly Deal all day haha.
– Tuesday we had district council and we got to meet the new senior couples, the Allreds. They’re going to Kakata but were just here for a few days. Got pineapple and mango smoothies from the Montoyas too!
– Wednesday was pretty cool. We were just eating lunch when we got a message from the APs that another missionary from the Southeast (the REAL bush) was traveling to us to spend the night before they headed back to Monrovia. Elder Frol is from Argentina and he’s a legend! His English was literally insane and it didn’t even sound like he spoke a different language. He taught me a little more Spanish which was sweet too. Talked all about the Southeast and even showed us some awesome pics of the real bush.
– We had a baptism on Saturday! Isaac Henry has been studying with us for a while now and he finally was baptized! We had a pretty normal baptism service which is saying something for Liberia. Something always goes wrong it’s insane. I was just thinking it was an awesome service when these three random dudes came up and said they were police and tried to arrest one of our members. Our Elders quorum president was vexed and just started yelling at them. The Spirit was strong all the way up until that point but we still had a great baptism! He even showed up way on time for his confirmation!
– Sunday was awesome as always. We had a few people we really weren’t expecting come to church. Which just shows faith works! We’re planning on inviting 3 or 4 of our friends for baptism this week cause they’re progressing so well! So pray for them!
Anyway yall are legends. It absolutely blows my mind that it’s already another end of the school year. Like I graduated a year ago?! I really can’t believe. So shout out to all my boys graduating this year. Legends.
Alright spiritual thought comes from a scripture I read the other day. Mosiah 16:15. It says “Teach them that redemption cometh through Christ the Lord, who is the very Eternal Father. Amen.” That’s it. As a missionary that’s what I do but we can all do it too. Amen!
Okay ooo hope you all have a great week. Hopefully people actually read these haha cause theyre like my mini journal of LIB. Except I don’t write a lot of things otherwise my mom would probably be a little vexed haha. Love ya all and hit me back with an email or pics or videos or something.
Jesus loves you!
