What’s up people. It’s your boy again on another P day! This week was awesome and flew by it’s insane how the time keeps going.
We had a great week on the missionary side of things. A looooot of lessons. But also a lot of confirmed lessons thst fell through. So we actually did some planned finding and stuff and it was epic. One thing me and Elder Mfumundende have been trying to do is have more planned finding rather than just having it as a backup plan. So we found a lot of new people and hoping they’ll progress and keep coming closer to Christ!
We also put 3 people on date this week thst seem very committed to the gospel. So pray for Theo, Rita, and Faith! We’re planning on a few more people on date as well so that’s always so awesome.
Alright let’s get to highlights of the week: – I met a real Chinee man. Except he’s really from Thailand. Long story short he lost his passport and has been stuck in Liberia for years. He’s been trying to get back to his family but they don’t want to help him. It’s a really sad story honestly. He came to church yesterday and introduced himself to us. He was soooooo surprised when I said hello in Thai! He was so happy and just beaming to hear someone speak his native language. I was able to explain I was in Thailand for a few weeks and showed some pictures from my own trip and also my cousin Ella’s trip to Thailand she just got back from. So ya it was pretty legendary.
– we finally got a new generator. Our other one broke so weve been suffering small with the senior couples. But my guy Bishop Sayon, who’s our FM, (I served in Brewerville which is his ward) clutched up for us and got us a bunch of new stuff and the generator. Bishop Sayon so told me George is in the Elders Quorum Presidency now! George was one of my favorite people to baptize and I was so happy to hear he’s still strong in the church! And we got washboards again from Bishop. Finally got a washboard to clean my clothes again 💪
– I had an exchange with Elder Mortimer. He’s a goofy guy and we had some fun together. He’s a great missionary and taught me some sweet things in teaching. He even taught me some street talk from in town! The whole day we were just quoting Macho Libre which was so legendary haha.
– the Montoyas made quesadillas and salsa! After DC on Tuesday, they made us food and it was so baller to have a little Mexican food in my system again haha.
My studies this week were a lot in PMG and also about the Priesthood. Highly recommend to study those!
Anyway imma keep it short this week cause I feel like I always write too much haha. This week was awesome and I’m always looking forward to the next one! Lot of cool miracles this last week too.
Crazy to think graduation was a year ago for me and all my friends! It’s crazy how fast time flies when you’re serving the Lord. Shout out to all the graduates this year. Yall are studs.
Love ya all and hit me up with the emails or pics.
Jesus loves you!
Elder Good Man
