Ya it’s been a crazy week. But there’s not a better work to be done!
For those of you who don’t know, Elder Mfumundende became the new AP of our mission so he left last week. So I’ve been in a trio this week with Elder Cathey and Elder Chingombe. We’ve been covering two pretty productive areas so it’s been hard to be in both areas at the same time. But we manage it. Gosh we just had too much fun this last week. Me and Elder Cathey were just being clowns the whole time hahaha. No small enjoyment for all of us so it was a good week but difficult.
Highlights:
– movie time! For district council on Tuesday, we got permission to watch a church movie. It’s called The Testaments of One Fold and One Shepherd. Oh my gosh. I would highly recommend. It was so powerful and the Spirit was so strong in the ending.
– no small stupid phrases me and Elder Cathey were saying the whole week. We were just acting like hooligans the whole week.
– got to go in town this week for an emergency MLC with the legend, President Nielsen of the Africa West Area. We had some awesome instruction and he shared some really good points that he shared. Got some Monroe Chicken, jolloff rice, pizza, and ice cream. Ya. We enjoyed.
– gave a talk on Sunday on the Atonement. Always enjoy teaching that one as a missionary cause it’s so powerful
– got transfer news. My new companion is Elder Sumaila from Sierra Leone. He’s a stud. At least for the few hours I’ve known him haha.
My spiritual thought for the week came from that MLC. President Nielsen shared with us a very simple and easy but powerful way to know someone well. And that is just to ask them their favorite scripture in the BOM. So my invitation for you all is to ask people what their favorite scripture in the BOM is.
