What’s up gang! First of all shout out to all the dad’s out there. Yall are epic. Shout out to Brian. Youre the goat. Would not be anywhere close to where I am without your example so ya there’s that. Love ya nerd.

This week was awesome! I received my new companion last week. His name is Elder Sumaila from Sierra Leone. He’s a stud. Hes super happy and excited about everything. He loves just talking to random people and it’s done us a lot of good. I was actually wanting to focus more on finding and being better and talking to people. And now I have a companion who is so good at it! Miracles and answers to prayers are real.

We’ve been trying to learn as much Bassa (a dialect for the Bassa tribe) as possible. It’s been so fun to learn it and see the people react when a white man is speaking their dialect. 

We had some good and powerful lessons this week. It was my first time leading Buchanan completely by myself and it was great! Sure we had quite a few missed appointments but that’s just the work there haha. But we are always grateful for the miracles we do have. 

Funny story for the week. An ol ma tried to kiss me. That’s pretty much it. It was crazy and I’m glad I got away cause that wouldve been wild. 

Sunday was wild. I have never seen so much rain in my life than that day. In most places in our area, the water got flooded up to peoples waists. So ya sacrament attendance was a bummer. But we did end up having two brand new investigators just show up despite the rain. Miracles!!! 

Had an awesome interview with President Thomas this week. I love my mission president so much and it’s always so good to hear from him. 

We had two nights playing games and food with the Montoyas. They’re just the best and I’m going to miss them baway! 

Prayer list:

– Please pray for George Hunder. If you don’t remember him, he was one of the first people I baptized back in Brewerville. He called me the other day and asked me to please pray for his wife because he really wants her to join the church. Also, Bishop Sayon is helping George prepare for the temple so thst way when he reaches his one year membership he’ll be able to go! So epic!!! But also crazy to think it’s almost been a year since we met him.

– please pray for George Dosseh. He’s a man that loves to study and recently felt the Spirit so strongly in a lesson we had with him about the Atonement.

– please pray for all of our people! And missionaries around the world!
