Grateful

This week was crazy and super busy. And one of the fastest weeks of my mission haha. We had 3 Zone Conferences, a couple exchanges, and a bunch of amazing lessons and met some awesome people.

Monday we had a day in our area. But the best part was that Elder Mfumundende got his driving license!!! So ya it’s been pretty awesome but terrifying at the same time haha.

Tuesday we has ZC up in Totota. It was sweet, got some awesome instruction, and got to meet a bunch of elders. Then we spent the rest of the evening driving elders back to their areas. Finally made it to Gbarnga and Ganta so that’s pretty sweet!

Wednesday we booked it back down into the city to have an exchange. I went back to my last area Congotown 1 with my last companion Elder Nyiketa. It was fun I got to see some of my old people so that was epic.

Thursday we had another ZC. We drove elders back into their areas. Then we had another ZC over zoom in the evening.

Friday, another exchange where I was back in our area. Dang no small missed appointments but we manage ain’t you know. Sometimes that’s just how it can be looking.

And now today… We went to a baptism I my old area to see some of my people get baptized which was sweet. I swear that always happens haha. I teach someone and then once I leave they get baptized. It happens literally every time 😂. But at least they take that step. At least.

Now for a little story. On Wednesday early morning, we were driving from Gbarnga. That was the most beautiful drive ever! The sun was just coming up, the morning dew and fog was there, the windy road through the bush, and the hills all just came together. That was when one song came on called Grateful. It’s such a good song and I realized just how grateful I am for everything in my life. My family, my friends, the gospel, my mission, etc. I could go on and on. But it was a really cool moment where I just realized, “holy cow. I’m legit in Liberia teaching the gospel. This is the coolest thing ever.” I would not trade anything right now for the amazing and life changing experiences I continue to have here. This is the place I need to be, to learn to grow and to become a true disciple of Jesus Christ.

Anyway that it. Love ya all and keep doing good and being good.

Jesus loves you baway

Elder Good Man
