Ya hello again and welcome back to another email. This week was super busy, a grind, but pretty fun and I learned a ton. 

This week we had 3 Zone Conferences, and also an exchange. So Tuesday to Friday we were out of our apartment doing some fun fun stuff. But oh my gosh I loved this week. 

Zone conference is always a good time for me because I learn so much from President and Sister Thomas and other elders. President Thomas always teaching us on doctrines, Sister Thomas teaches about Christ like attributes, and than us and the ZLs focus on missionary skills. President always tells us repetition is the law of learning and boy is he right. Even though we all give the same instruction every Zone Conference, the Spirit always guides me in one way or another to learn something new. So even the third time that President Thomas has given his instruction, I’m still learning new things. And it’s amazing what I’m learning. Makes me so grateful to be around such a great man and to learn from him!

We had an exchange in Dolos Town with some of the ZLs there and those are always fun. It feels good to be back in the field and just completely focused on the work. Taught some good lessons and found some new people too. Had some Fufu Congolese which is sweet baway. Good times. 

This week I had a few chances to have some quick personal studies. I’ve been primarily focusing on the Book of Mormon and just trying to find the key doctrines and principles pertaining to Jesus Christ inside of it. I was reading Alma 12 and came across a few scriptures that I’ve always loved and it was a good reminder to me. Verse 10 and 11 teach us that we need to not harden our hearts if we want to receive the greater portion of the word. The way I took it, if we are prideful and don’t want to learn anymore and we think we know everything, we’re not going to receive the greater portion of the word. So we need too humble ourselves and continue to learn. Even the Brethern continue to study every day and that is how they receive revelation! So ya just a friendly reminder to stay humble 😁

The rest of the week was a blur and I’m just grateful for the things I do remember haha. Yall need to do good and be good. And send me some life updates. Love ya all. Stay humble and trust in the Lord.
