Ayo what’s good everyone?! We back at it again with another weekly!
This week was another quick week that was busy busy busy. And a TON of travel. But let’s get into it.
Sunday was another sweet Sabbath day! We had a ton of investigators come to church and enjoy the service which is always so awesome! We taught some good lessons and were able to have some of our members schedule days to visit some of our investigating families! So epic.
Monday was a long day for real haha. We spent the whole day driving. Ya for real. We drove all the way out to the bush to pick up some elders and do some small transfers. We ended up leaving by 9ish and getting back around the same time in the evening 🥲. So fun. But we did see some beautiful bush of Liberia so that’s a bonus!
Tuesday we had ZC up in Totota which is always a favorite of mine. We started off the morning rough with a bunch of problems with our truck and everything so we ended up late to ZC but we manage it. I just love that drive cause it’s a nice road straight through the bush for hours! It’s gorgeous and it makes a good time to just pause and meditate on a lot of things.
Wednesday we had another ZC in Monrovia which was pretty good as well.
Thursday we had most of the day in our area but we also had another ZC with elders of the Southeast. Those elders are wayyyy out there and basically it’s just them in the middle of nowhere all alone. But we are grateful for Zoom and phones to be able to call them haha.
Friday we another a full day in our area which is always sweet. We met with a lot of our friends and converts and we were even able to put a few on date for baptism! 🙌🙌🙌 So be praying for them to continue to prepare.
This week I had a few morning where I was able to have a few minutes of personal study. Our mission president this last ZC gave instruction on the difference between doctrine, principles, and application. Elder Bednar wrote a book on it so go check it out. Anyway I learned a lot from President Thomas. This week I’ve been reading the Book of Mormon but only focusing on the doctrines that I find inside. I’ve seen how much God loves us, the commandments are truly blessings, and the power of the priesthood is real. It’s been pretty amazing and I’m so grateful for President and Sister Thomas and all they do!
