Miracle of the century!

This week was crazy but also super fun haha. I’ll start off with what happened and then I’ll get to the miracle!

This week we didn’t have hardly any office work to do so we got to spend all of our time in the field and doing exchanges. It was another one of those weeks where we had 4 exchanges back to back, all in a row. It was epic! I got to go to Harbel, Gardnersville, and Virginia, and finally back to our own area. I was with some awesome elders and we taught some awesome lessons and had a lot of cool experiences together! Let’s have some highlights shall we…

– met this woman from Sierra Leone that literally knew everything about the Restoration and Plan of Salvation. It was the weirdest thing. She even told us basically the whole story of Joseph Smith. It was like she had read Saints before or something haha. She said she even believes in all of it and even reads the Liahona and Ensign magazines! Turns out she’s a missionary for a different church haha.

– made some homemade burgers for dinner with one Elder on exchange. They were quite scrumptious to say the least.

– met some Bassa woman that went crazy

after I spoke some Bassa to them! It’s always the best when they say “You real Bassa man ooooo”

– got to hear the conversion story of an amazing, consecrated missionary this week. It was the most powerful and spiritual companionship study I’ve ever had. He has literally given everything for this gospel. Needless to say, he’s someone I look up to now.

Okay ooo. Time for the MIRACLE!!! We’ve been teaching this one family in our area for a long time. They’ve been studying with the missionaries for maybe 5 months now. The problem is that the parents are not legally married so they can’t be baptized. And they all want to be baptized together. They are all so converted, come to church every Sunday, and all love the gospel and God. We’ve been working with them trying to get their marriage certificate but we figured it would probably take maybe up to a year because money is super tough out here. Needless to say… We went to go teach them just this morning and we ended up just studying with the father alone cause everyone was busy. At the end of the study, he looked at us and was like “We got the marriage certificate, you wanna see?” We were both like wait for real?! Sure enough, they got it!!! Let’s go! 💪💪💪

So now we’ve just gotta prepare these next few weeks to have the coolest baptism ever! So excited for this family and all that they’ve done to be members of the restored church!!!

Anwyays, this week we’ve got some epic Christmas parties so I’m hyped for that. But ain’t you know? Thats just how it can be looking ooo. Just loving my time teaching the restored gospel out here. It’s just insane it’s already Christmas again 😭

Last thing! It was my mom’s birthday on the 12th!!! She’s pretty epic to say the least so I hope yall wished her a happy birthday. Love ya Madre!

Any who, hope yall enjoying the Christmas season wherever you’re at. Remember the true purpose. Compliment to the season.

Jesus loves you baway
