My new year on you too

What up gang! I hope yall had a holly jolly folly Christmas! Cause I know I sure did! This week was absolutely legendary. Hands down just one for the memory books and one I’ll always remember. Let me just give yall the highlights…

– on Sunday I gave a talk in our sacrament meeting. The first thing I said went something like this, “Brothers and sister good morning. My Christmas on all of ya!” Which basically means that I’m saying on Christmas I’ll come for my gift which is just meaning food. So I basically set us up for a bunch of food on Christmas day 😎

– got my new companion Elder Tu’ipulotu from Tonga! We’ll be in a trio for the meantime while we train and prepare for the next transfer. He’s legendary and boy oh boy he can cook. Basically I’m coming enjoy ooo.

– roasted two pigs on Monday. They tasted so good it was amazing. I miss pulled pork and bacon so bad haha

– we ate so much good food this week… From pig, to biscuits and gravy, to Chinese food, to Monroe chicken, to pizookies, to burritos, to mashed potatoes, to a homemade meal from the Blanchards… I think I’m probably gaining a few pounds haha.

– got a few gifts from some missionaries and even got a care package that I opened today from my family! My favorite ones from this week were a yoyo, twix, and a ping pong thingie.

– we went on a couple exchanges this week. I went back to Totota with my elders Elder Lilly and Elder Karren. We had a good time walking around the bush teaching the gospel! And then we had another exchange with Elder Briggs back in Sinkor. We taught a bunch of our people and even found a couple new ones so that was epic!

– Now for the best highlight of the week. A BAPTISM!!! We had the amazing opportunity to participate in the baptism of 8 people this morning. And six of them were from that amazing Jamah family that I always talk about. It was such an amazing moment to see that family get baptized and share their testimonies all together. Theyre going to be so strong as members of the true Church of Jesus Christ! The whole baptism went very smoothly and we even had a lot of our members show up. We even started exactly on time which is a miracle by itself haha.

– I had one of my favorite Christmas days ever in my life. We spent the first half of the day walking about to members and investigators houses and sat down with them. We didnt really teach anything but let the Spirit so the work. With everyone we talked to, we watched The Christ Child which is one of my favorite videos the church has produced. If you didn’t watch it, shame on you. Just kidding but go watch it. It was so funny to see all these busy people from the community come over to us and watch this amazing show with us. The Spirit was so strong and I’m so grateful for my Savior. We spent the rest of the evening at the Blanchards, one of the senior couples, playing games, eating dinner and opening presents. It was epic. Oh and of course I almost forgot, I called my family haha.

Anyway I think that’s it for this week. It was such a good week and I’m looking forward to this new year! I hope yall are making some good goals for the new year and gknna get to work.

Love yall.

Jesus loves you baway too
