What’s up my people? I hope yall had a good week cause I sure did.

This week was transfer week for the mission. I think this was probably the craziest and eventful week I’ve had while in the office haha. It was just a ton of driving and working and things not going according to plan and all that fun stuff. But some how and in someway it all worked out. And for that we’re grateful.

Because it was just a ton of crazy things going on and a lot of other junk, let me just give you some highlights…

– we had a meeting with the departing missionaries that went home this transfer. We have a sweet testimony meeting with them. You know out of all the missionaries thst have gone home recently, this one was the most strange. Maybe because it was because I served as companions with 3 of them and even one of them was my trainer haha. And also because out of 13 elders, I’d been on exchanges with all but 2. So ya maybe it was strange to me because I learned sownthing from all of them and I had a friendship with them. Which brought this to my mind. In my farewell talk before I left on my mission, I said something about being excited to make some eternal friends in Liberia. Well at the time I thought I just meant people I would teach and find. But now Ive realized how many awesome missionaries have become lifelong friends and I’m so grateful for all of them and the things that I’ve learned.

– Because of transfers, I got to take some new missionaries to my old area of Buchanan. Now that was sweet! Buchanan is probably my favorite area I’ve served in. So in the evening we got to go proselyte for a few hours in my old area. We even got to visit some of the people I used to teach. And to my awesome surprise, they all still remembered me! What’s cool too is that for many of these people, I was the first missionary to teach them. We stated from ground zero and helped them grow their testimony and conversion. These were some of my favorite people ever but unfortunately I was transferred before they were baptized. But now they are all strong in the gospel and church and active in their calling! My two favorite things these people said were these.

– “Elder Good Man , you planted the seed. And then you left it for Elder Sumaila and Elder Sokiziou and they watered it until it bloomed. But I thank you for planting the seed.” – Brother Zoe

– “Elder Good Man thanks for encouraging me about God business. You have helped me know who He is and now I have faith in Him. – Naziru Kay

Basically it was a great time in Buchanan and I love and miss those people!

– we ate some amazing food this week 🤤. From sloppy Joe’s, to Monroe Chicken, to palm butter and cassava leaf, I really enjoyed.

– our sinks been broken the whole week… So no small stinky dishes in our sink. But Elder Tu’ipulotu pulled a genius move and we ended up washing dishes in my shower 💪

Anyways it’s been another eventful week out here. Keep grinding. Do good. Be good.

Jesus loves you baway!
