Kicking it in Gompa City

What’s up again friends and family?! This week was awesome filled with hard work, Spirit filled days, and new things learned.

Let me give ya the run down.

– Tuesday we had Zone Conference. It was President and Sister Thomas’s last one cause they are finishing their mission this month. Boy am I going to miss them. Still remember my first day here in LIB and just talking to them on the car ride to Monrovia. Spent a lot of time with them in the office too. I am so grateful for them cause dang they can work! The Lord definitely placed us to serve together in Liberia cause they’re amazing!

Anyways Zone Conference was so powerful. Talked all about foundations. Building the foundation of the church in Liberia, building our members and investigators foundations, and building our own. There was a lot of talk about temples and covenants. And boy oh boy do I miss the temple!

President and Sister Thomas gave some great instruction about what we need to continue doing in our lives. If you have not read or listened to it, President Nelson have a talk entitled “The Everlasting Covenant.” This talk has changed my life. I have read it over and over again and wow. I am so grateful for the connection I have with my Father and His Son!

– the rest of the week was a blur. From branch work, to teaching, to interviews, to some member emergencies, we had it all. But the Spirit was guiding us every step of the way! We had some amazing lessons with some wonderful people. The work is going forward!

– If you don’t know, I am trying to finish the Book of Mormon again before I return home. I’m in Alma and finished reading the story of the Sons of Mosiah and their ministry among the Lamanites. Wow. That’s all I can say. Alma 29 is one of my favorite chapters in all of scripture. So please go read it. It’s pretty much my testimony right now 😂.

Anyways I wish I could say more but my time has come. Life is good. No in fact it’s wonderful. Love ya all and keep killing it.

Jesus loves you baway!!!
