Family and friends. Welcome.
This has been some of my favorite time out here in Liberia. Just the things I’m learning and doing all are adding up. The memories, the hard work, the lessons learned. Just trying to make every second count. Gosh I’m gonna miss Liberia so much. It’s just too hard to explain. The Lord is hastening His work out here in Ganta City!
Small update ya?
– we’ve got 11 people on date for baptism right now. 2 for this Saturday. And a family of 9 that will be baptized my last Saturday on the mission. I love all of them so much and I’m so excited for all of them! 😁
– still branch president. But hopefully will get that switched up and ready before I go.
– July 4th was pretty epic. Got a lot of wishes for that just by random people 😂. We made some bussing burgers that night. Celebrated with pride 🇺🇸
– had a lot of random things just happen. Like getting our chapel door fixed, being called for a small family meeting, spawning in to a random party. Just goofy moments that make me just love Liberia even more.
– had a sweet training on Saturday that went great. Everybody said they enjoyed it and learned something.
– we got a water heater 😁. That’s random but it happened. It spoiled after a day cause the pipes weren’t strong enough. Buns. Back to boiling water on the stove.
Honestly, I’m still just trying to wrap my head around how time is going. It still feels like my mission is just going to go on forever. I’m beyond excited to come home and see how much better my life is going to be because I’ll actually be understanding and living the gospel. But wow I’m gonna miss this mission like none other. But all good things must end. Except for exaltation. That’ll be pretty sweet.
